FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How will I know when and where to find my photos on-line?
A:
When your photos are available on the Photo Collection web site, we will send you an E-mail describing how and where to view your photos.
Q: Can anyone that has Internet (Web) access look at my photos?
A:
Yes. Unless you choose to have us password protect your personal Photo Collection web page, then only people you give your password to will be able to look at your photos.
Q: Do I need to send all photos at the time I place the order?
A:
No. You can send the photos anytime during the duration of the package that you have selected. For example, if you choose the Large Package (12 photos for 6 months), you can elect to only send 7 photos at the time of order. Then, you have up to 6 months to send the remaining 5 photos.
Q: Are there any restrictions to the type of photos I can put on-line?
A:
Not really. However, since this is a family oriented web site we prefer not to have any indecent or pornographic photos on-line.
Q: Will my photos be returned to me?
A:
Yes, if you include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your order.
Q: Can I add audio to my Photo Collection web page?
A:
Not at this time. However, we plan to make this an option in the near future. If this is a an important feature to you, please send us an E-mail info@photocollection.com and we will try to accommodate your request.
Q: How big will my pictures appear on the web page?
A:
The size of the picture depends on the monitor size and your computer's video resolution. We size the on-line photos to have a maximum size of 300 pixels (either horizontally or vertically). A typical 15" monitor with a standard 800x600 video resolution will view the photo at approximately 4"x4".
Q: Can my friends that use and Mac and a PC both access my photos?
A:
Of course. The photos can be viewed on any platform as long as your friends have Internet access.
Q: Are these real questions or do you just make them up.
A:
Most of the questions are real, but some we have added to help answer some projected questions.
